- Anything you share in a coaching session stays private and is used only to support your coaching.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or stop our emails, at any time.
Who we are
SelfLoveUKnow (ABN 32 338 384 235) is a 1:1 coaching business run by Anezka Pospíšilová. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean SelfLoveUKnow, and “you” means anyone who visits our website, books a call or works with us.
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Where the law of another country applies to you, such as the GDPR in the EU and UK, we follow it too.
SelfLoveUKnow offers coaching. It is not therapy, counselling or medical care, and it does not replace them.
What we collect
What you give us
- Contact details: your name, email address and phone number when you book a call, fill in a form or contact us.
- Booking details: your chosen time, time zone and anything you add in the booking form.
- Coaching information: what you tell us in calls, messages and worksheets, and any notes we take so we can support you.
- Payment details: if you enrol, our payment provider collects your card or bank details. We don’t see or store full card numbers.
- Testimonials and photos: only if you choose to send them, and we publish them only with your written permission.
What we collect automatically
- Technical information such as your IP address, browser, device type and the pages you visit.
- Information from cookies and similar tools (see Cookies and pixels).
What we get from others
- If you enquire through a social media ad or lead form, the platform passes us the details you submitted, such as your name and email.
Sensitive information
Coaching can be personal. You may choose to tell us about your health, relationships, work or background. This is called “sensitive information” under Australian law.
- You never have to share anything you’re not comfortable with.
- We only collect sensitive information with your consent, and only use it to support your coaching.
- We don’t use it for advertising, and we don’t share it except as set out in this policy or where the law requires.
How we use your information
- To book, confirm, reschedule and run your discovery call and any coaching sessions.
- To deliver your program, including sending worksheets, practices and session reminders.
- To reply to your questions and keep a record of our communication.
- To take payments and keep business and tax records.
- To send you updates and offers, but only where you’ve agreed or the law allows (see Marketing messages).
- To understand how our website and ads perform, and to improve them.
- To meet our legal obligations and protect our rights.
Marketing messages
We may email or text you news, resources and offers. Every message includes a simple way to unsubscribe, and we’ll honour your request promptly. You can also reply “stop” to a text or contact us using the details below.
Unsubscribing from marketing won’t stop messages we need to send about a call or program you’ve booked, such as reminders and receipts.
Overseas storage
Some of our providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Before we share your information with an overseas provider, we take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it in a way that is consistent with Australian privacy law. By using our services you accept that overseas disclosure may occur.
Security and how long we keep it
We protect your information with reasonable safeguards, including password-protected accounts and secure, reputable service providers. No online system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as the law requires. For example, financial records are kept for at least 5 years for tax purposes. Coaching notes are kept for 2 years after our work ends. After that we delete or de-identify them.
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that’s wrong or out of date;
- delete your information, where we’re not required to keep it;
- stop sending you marketing; or
- stop using your information for a particular purpose, where the law gives you that right.
If you’re in the EU or UK, you also have the rights set out in the GDPR, including data portability and the right to object to processing.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we aim to reply within 30 days.
Children
Our services are for adults aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us their details, please contact us and we’ll delete them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we’ll let you know in a clear way, such as by email.
